Interstellar Starship Services Limited (ISS Ltd) is pleased to announce the release and publication of a final ruling and opinion in case number 01-35155 [Interstellar Starship v. Epix, Inc] by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Reaffirming an earlier ruling and opinion crafted by District Judge Robert E. Jones on behalf of United States District Court for the District of Oregon, a panel of three Circuit Court Judges has determined that the right of ISS Ltd to retain and use the www.epix.com domain name is indisputable.

This decision by the Ninth Circuit clearly and positively resolves a number of issues regarding the application of existing trademark law to current and future domain name disputes.
